Not too long ago I finally got a sheet of Masonite cut to fit the top of my 4 print bins when they are put together. Now there is a smooth, large surface on which I can work. The bins have wheels so I can move the newly configured table/storage unit around depending on the amount of floor space that I need. And sometimes, I need more floor space than table top when I am creating. The simple beauty of the design is that it can be disassembled if need be.
With this improvement to my creating situation, my studio definitely needed to be cleaned. And yes, I did it myself. Everything was put in its proper place. Artwork was removed from display frames and replaced with the newest works which were then rehung. I hate to say it. This only happens once in a while and the studio does not remain clean for long. I think any artist can attest to that. However, it feels good to be rid of the clutter even for a short while. My clean studio makes me happy.
